THE MYSTERY OF THE OPPOSITE FORCES.
There is a very interesting myth among all cultures. It is hard to understand for those trapped into good and evil. The universe has many mysteries, so ancient cultures has.
In all traditions there were brothers who sooner or later became enemies: Zeus and Pluto, Osiris and Seth to mention two of them. I will tell you about others later…

Let’s remember QUETZALCOATL and his brother TEZCATLIOPOCA. The latter made the first one to get drunk and be expelled from Tula. Yes, Quetzalcoatl was betrayed by his brother. They became enemies as Zeus and Pluto or Osiris and Horus.
Zeus became the Lord of the gods and heaven was his realm; but Pluto was the Lord of Hell. The Greek myths tell how Pluto became not so happy with his brother…
Osiris was always coming back victorious from battles. Seth, his brother, full of envy planned how to kill Osiris and he did. Osiris was resurrected after his son Hours killed Seth.
What all this mean? Well, it is not so simple to explain. Please pay attention…
The power of symbols and myths are far beyond concepts. Those ancient symbols and myths had a great importance in the old days of glory of our ancestors; but they are important in modern life too. It is a fact that modern humans do not understand what life is for and that is the main reason for hatred and wars all around the planet.
What is good? What is bad? It depends how you see something and it depends on your understanding and your own background. The fact is things are the way they are and not the way we want them to be.
Only when we open our mind to new possibilities, to new ideas then we can learn. What are trapped into this space-time machine called RELATIVITY. It does not mean it is the only reality. What real is goes beyond human limitations. Neither regular persons nor scientists are owners of reality. Things are the way they are whatever we like it or not. Not a smart person can deny that.
WISDOM is not the result of thoughts or analysis, but without thoughts and analysis we cannot understand wisdom. Obviously we need a different way to think far beyond the human concepts. Human concepts are attached to human limitations and therefore to this machine of Space and time.
There is a principle beyond all reasons and analysis. Some cultures refer to it as the one who created himself. Other say: The one who has no name. The Heart of Heaven was the way Aztecs called it.
That principle is far beyond what is positive and negative. It is the ZERO in the scale of real numbers. Positive numbers are to the right of ZERO; but negative number on the left. Nevertheless, the absolute value of a negative number is the same to the absolute value of the same number, but positive.
Positive and negative are forces in nature. Not light can come out form two negative poles or from two positive poles. This is so basic! All the forces of the universe need a positive pole and a negative pole in order to work in nature.
We cannot have day if night does not exist and every object projects a shadow. Who can deny it? The universe is full of opposite forces and things: Tall and short, big and small, pretty and ugly and so on…. The Space and Time machine works like that.
It is so obvious to understand that everything came out form one unique source. Whatever it was a Big Bang or a String (See the String Theory) the fact is: ALL FORCES WERE TOGETHER IN A POINT! So the negative force and the positive force were together once! They both came out from the same source. So, we can say: THEY WERE BROTHERS!
Let’s remember Thor and Lucky, Abel and Cain… We will find these myths everywhere. I always say: THE IMPORTANCE IS NOT THE SYMBOL, BUT THE MEANING.
When these forces come out to create the universe then duality is created! This is not a matter of good and evil, but a matter of energy.
This duality is within human nature, but men without wisdom do not understand it. We all have the duality within ourselves. We have two eyes, two legs, two arms, etc. Our great brain has two hemispheres! Actually the mind is the realm of duality.
Good and evil does not exist! They are pure illusion. They are needed in order to teach us the way to perfection. The perfect one is the one who understand the duality and he, after many years of inner work, defeats himself in the battle of the mind.
Horus defeats Seth in order to resurrect Osiris. Horus beheads Seth, he conquer his mind in order to have the wisdom of Osiris.
Quetzalcoatl living in his kingdom, full of perfection and glory, is betrayed by his own brother. Tezcatlipoca, smoking mirror, full of envy made Quetzalcoatl to get drunk with his wife. Next day… Quetzalcoatl is forced to go away from Tula. The great king loses everything and he cry out of anguish. He knows now, too late, the terrible mistake he had done.
Quetzalcoatl after many years of inner work sets fire to himself, yea as Hercules did. His heart goes to heaven and became the planet Venus (Love).
OH GREAT HEROES OF ANCIENT TIMES,

BUT YOU ARE MORE REAL THAN
ANY MORTAL MAN OR WOMAN.
YOU DEFEATED TO YOURSELF
THE GLORY AND THE POWER ARE YOURS.
YOU DEFEATED DUALITY AND
NOW YOU ARE PERFECT!

The warriors who try to achieve that great task must be prepared for a great bottle. There is no other chance, but to defeat or be defeated. The warrior needs control of the mind, control of duality. The path of perfection has to abyss, one on the left the other one on the right.
Many people fall in the left side of the abyss and they become evil: violent, arrogant, covetous… they heart get full of hatred, envy, resentment, etc. Those who fall in the right side become good people, they develop a good heart; but they do not become perfect and actually, they do not want to be perfect.
QUETZALCOATL is the perfect man within all human being! He is the one who understands what is good and what is evil. He is the one who is beyond duality! QUETZALCOATL IS THE KING, THE INNER KING!
How can we have a great King Arthur without Lancelot? No, they were not brothers, but Lancelot was the best man to Arthur and he (Lancelot) betrayed him with his wife.
All these great legends, all these great myths are talking about a task to be done; not about a dream or a simple tale.
We need to be more reflexives and deep to understand the great bottle of the ancient warriors. That old battle is not over yet…. It is in action in this XXI century.
Do not feel alone if you try to fight this war, because many are trying now, but remember: ONLY THE STRONGEST SURVIVE!
Remember: The great Master Jesus had a great treacherous, his name was Judas. How could exist a Christ without a treacherous. How can exist love without hatred. The great master teaches us the philosophy of love and forgiveness with his own example. Now we can understand why he picked up 12 disciples. No? well, THE ANAHATTA CHAKRA HAS 12 PETALS. That is the chakra of the heart, the chakra of love.
LOVE GOES BEYOND THE THESIS AND THE ANTITHESIS. IT GOES TO THE SYNTHESIS.

THE SYNTHESIS (THE INNER SILENCE):
Duality is a real part of our life: Tall and small, fat and skinny, light and darkness, smart and fool, etc.
Life is full of troubles which come at any time. We must be prepared to face them. We have to choice: Run away or fight!
The universe, nature and our life have duality at any second. Any time we need to make a choice we face this duality: Should I do it or not?
Our brain works according to duality because reasoning is comparing two things. When we want to take a decision we think the pros and the cons. Well, the pros are the thesis and the cons are the antithesis. Both are always fighting within our brain, within ourselves.
These two brothers (thesis and antithesis) are born from out brain, they are thoughts. When one side is weak then it is easy to find the solution and the problem is not big. Nevertheless, when both sides are strong then a terrible battle starts in our brain, within ourselves.

Now we can understand why the calmness of our mind was taught by Buddha and the ancient Masters. Now we can understand the need of MEDITATION. It is a technique to calm the mid in order to find the SYNTHESIS!
The synthesis never comes as the result of reasoning. It comes when the mind gets calmed. That is a very simple principle in Buddhism.
The more a person thinks about a problem the more confused he/she is. Usually we make a big storm right in a glass of water. Usually a problem is solved in a very easy way. USUALLY SOMETHING HAPPEN TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAT WHAT WE THOUGHT! Then we wasted our time thinking.
REAL PEACE COMES AS A RESULT OF A CALMED MIND. When we get inner peace then we get real understanding, which comes out from love. A troubled mind is not able to spread love.
Ancient cultures new all this. It was part of their philosophy. Now we need to gain back this wisdom to understand life and have a more calmed mind. Our societies are full of problems and stress because we do not live according to the laws of the cosmos and nature.

GOOD AND EVIL:
Ancient Christian churches had a black and white floor. Modern
churches do not because they forgot the meaning of the opposites. The very
infant idea of a red evil creature destroyed the power of analysis and
reflection. Fear is the worst enemy of knowledge. The best way to control any
creature, animal or human, is by fear. That was the way the church used to
control people in the middle Age. Now we are more civilized and they use TV to
create fears of phobias. This could be a good point to talk in other post.
The universe cannot exist without the opposite forces. Everything
is energy. So everything has a negative pole and a positive pole. When those
poles are separated then, by nature, they come back to be together again.
When we talk about the opposite forces we are not talking
about good and evil because it depends on the way you see it. What is good?
What is bad? The concept depends on several facts:

Beliefs.
- -
Country and culture.
-
- Family values
-
- Time (We have different ideas now than 100 years
ago)
-
- Etc.
That idea of good and evil fails to explain many things in
the real world. There is a point when you do not know if something is good or
not. Then it is better to ask yourself: IS IT CORRECT? Then the answer might be
easy.
In Buddhism Mara is our inner weakness and fears; it is not
an outsider. The mind is the place where Mara hides, so understanding the mind
is the goal of Buddhism. Nevertheless, this needs a lot of meditation practices.
Duality is in our mind, the kingdom of Mara. MEDITATION is
the tool to get to the center of the mind, where calmness is. Then you get
enlightenment. The idea of Good and evil is a trap from the mind. We need to go
beyond it. WE NEED TO BE FREE OF THE OPPOSITES! WE NEED TO BE FREE FROM THE
MIND.
All our fears, all our traumas, all our desires, all our
weakness is in the mind. If we control the mind we can do many things beyond
our own limits. Those who learned how to control their own mind and finally
achieved THE BUDDHA NATURE became totally different than regular human beings.
